TCS should get all facilities within time-limit: CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan reviewed preparations for foundation-laying ceremony of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on August 10 at Indore today. The project is being set up at super corridor of Indore. Information Technology Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya and concerning senior officers were also present on the occasion.

The Chief Minister said that launch of TCS project will be a memorable day not only for Indore but for entire state. He directed that all facilities should be provided to TCS within the time-limit so that its work is accomplished timely.
It is noteworthy that country’s biggest IT company TCS is setting up this project on 100 acre land in Indore’s super corridor. The company will invest Rs. 550 crore in the first phase and complete it in 2 years. On completion of the first phase, 5 thousand persons will get direct and 15 thousand people indirect employment. Entire project is targeted to be completed in 5 years. On its completion, 25 thousand people will get direct and one lakh people indirect employment. TCS had singed lease deed during Global Investors summit at Indore in October 2012. The company has been provided 100 acre land in the super corridor.
After the meeting, Industries and Information Technology Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya along with officers of the State Government and representatives of TCS inspected the site for foundation-laying ceremony and issued necessary directives. In this regard, Shri Vijayvargiya also held discussions with principals and directors of Indore’s polytechnic and engineering colleges.
