Candidates going door-to-door on foot in MP: Campaigning for the first phase ended; Voting on 6 Lok Sabha seats on April 19

The campaign for 6 seats in the first phase of Lok Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh ended at 6 pm on Wednesday. Voting will be held on these 6 seats – Sidhi, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Mandla, Balaghat and Chhindwara on April 19. There is a direct contest between BJP and Congress on all these seats. In Balaghat, campaigning had stopped at 4 pm in the three Naxal-affected assembly constituencies of Paraswara, Lanji and Baihar. Now the candidates will contact door-to-door.

On the last day of election campaign, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held meetings in Jabalpur, Mandla and Chhindwara. CM in Jabalpur said- Rahul Gandhi will have to cross the sea and contest elections.

At the same time, Kamal Nath held a public meeting in Chhindwara. Here his daughter-in-law and wife of Congress candidate Nakul Nath, Priyanath said – Truth can be troubled, but not defeated. Candidates did public relations on foot in Sidhi. Due to Ram Navami, candidates also went to temples and offered prayers at many places.

In Chhindwara on Wednesday morning, Union Home Minister Amit Shah gave advice to the angry leaders. Shah said that this Lok Sabha election is important for the party. If there is any deficiency in this, the party will analyze it later and take its decision. From here, BJP candidate Vivek Bunty Sahu held a public meeting in Dhanaura of Chaurai. Also participated in the procession of Lord Shri Ram organized on Ram Navami.

Former Chief Minister Kamal Nath held meetings in Nandanwadi, Buyari, Mainikhapa of Pandhurna in support of Congress candidate Nakul Nath from Chhindwara. Nakulnath reached Dhuniwale Dada Darbar and had darshan. Participated in the procession. After the public meeting in Khamantara of Tamia, visited Hinglaj temple.

BJP candidate from Balaghat Bharti Pardhi reached Balaji temple. Here he performed puja and sang hymns along with CM Dr. Mohan Yadav. Along with the CM, he also held an election meeting. From here she reached Seoni and joined the procession.

At the same time, Congress candidate Samrat Singh Sarswar offered prayers at Shri Ram temple in Kirnapur and Badgaon. Held a public meeting in Mahakepar of Katangi. 13 candidates are in the fray for Balaghat Lok Sabha seat.

Due to Ramnavami being the last day of election campaign, BJP and Congress candidates participated in religious events. BJP’s Faggan Singh Kulaste reached Khermai temple in Binjhia and worshiped. Also participated in the procession. At the same time, Congress candidate Omkar Singh Markam bowed his head in Madhiya of Chaugan.

CM Dr. Mohan Yadav also held a public meeting in Mandla in support of BJP candidate Faggan Singh Kulaste.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also reached Jabalpur on the last day of campaigning. He released the vision document of BJP candidate Ashish Dubey here. CM said, ‘Rahul Baba could not save the seat from North India. After losing from Uttar Pradesh in the last elections, he moved towards the south. This time Rahul Gandhi will have to cross the ocean and contest elections from another place after Kerala.

BJP candidate Ashish Dubey also did public relations in the East Assembly constituency. Congress candidate Dinesh Yadav took out a road show from the central office, Garha Gate, at 3 pm.

In Sidhi, the candidates took out a rally and interacted with the people on foot. A series of meetings also took place. BJP candidate Dr. Rajesh Mishra took 13 public meetings while Congress candidate Kamleshwar Patel took 15 meetings.

Here at 5:30 pm, Dr. Mishra toured all the wards on foot from the Collectorate intersection. During this, former MP and current MLA Reeti Pathak was also present. On the other hand, the Congress candidate held a public meeting in Hanumangarh in the presence of former leader of opposition Ajay Singh. Earlier in the afternoon, public relations were done in the wards.

On Wednesday, the last day of campaigning for Shahdol Lok Sabha seat, BJP candidate Himadri Singh campaigned in Umaria and Shahdol. Congress candidate Phundelal Singh Marco continued campaigning in Pushparajgarh of Anuppur district. After the deadline, both the candidates were seen asking for votes door-to-door with the workers. There are 10 candidates in the fray for this seat.
