Pilgrims reached Bhopal, says Chief Minister should be like Shivraj

Bhopal: A batch of 148 pilgrims of the state arrived at Bhopal today from Uttarakhand by a special Boeing aircraft arranged by Madhya Pradesh government. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan cordially received every pilgrim having returned after facing extreme natural calamity by embracing him. He received every pilgrim including children and senior citizens by garlanding them.
Pilgrims said in unison that a “Chief Minister should be like Shivraj.” Elderly pilgrims blessed Shri Chouhan from the core of their hearts. Some pilgrims were so overwhelmed that streams of tears were running down their cheeks. Mangla Singh of Durga Chowk, Bhopal had faced extreme difficulties for 8 days. She said that it was a very pathetic time. The Chief Minister brought pilgrims from jaws of death. Lakha Bai had gone along with 9 persons. All have returned today. The tired faces were also lit up with happiness. All these were stranded at Joshi Muth. Chain Singh and Pavitra Gurjar of Badveli informed that 13 people had gone of which only 11 have returned. They were sad due to separation from 2 of their companions. They said that they could survive only through help extended by the Chief Minister, otherwise something untoward would have happened with them. All 23 pilgrims belonging to Chanderi returning by plane were also very happy.
