Rs. 70 thousand subsidy for urban poor to construct house

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan distributed Rs. 19 crore 41 lakh benefits to 32 thousand 308 beneficiaries at Antyodaya Melas at Khurai in Sagar district, Pichhore in Shivpuri district and Kumbhraj in Guna district today. On the occasion, he also inaugurated and laid down foundation stones for 90 works costing Rs. 122 crore 59 lakh. The Chief Minister said that subsidy worth Rs. 70 thousand will be given the poor for constructing house in urban areas.
Khurai – Industrial corridor to be developed
At Khurai Antyodaya Mela in Sagar district, the Chief Minister gave away benefits worth Rs. 2 crore 7 lakh to 5,508 beneficiaries of various schemes. He also inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 38 works costing about Rs. 38 crore.
The Chief Minister said that the State Government has done unprecedented works in education, health, power, social welfare and other sectors. As a result, Madhya Pradesh has shaken off tag of a sick state. He appealed that maximum number of people should avail benefits of these schemes. He announced to develop an industrial corridor in Khurai. He said that a cluster for agricultural implements will be set up at Khurai. He also announced to accord Krishi Upaj Mandi status to sub-Mandi.
Panchayats & Rural Development Minister Shri Gopal Bharagava, MP Shri Bhupendra Singh Thakur, MLAs Shri Shailendra Jain, Shri Pradeep Laria and Smt. Vinod Panthi were also present on the occasion.
Pichhore – 24X7 power supply in Shivpuri district from May 15
At Pichhore Antyodaya Mela in Shivpuri district, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 25 works costing Rs. 64 crore. On the occasion, he districted Rs. 7 crore benefits to 7,800 beneficiaries of various schemes. The Chief Minister said that all villages in Shivpuri district will start getting 24X7 power supply from May 15. He said that youths should avail maximum benefit of Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana and start their businesses and industries. He underlined achievements made in the state in agriculture, irrigation, industry, employment and other sectors. MLAs Shri Makhanlal Rathore, Shri Ramesh Khatik, Shri Devendra Jain and Shri Prahlad Bharti, other local public representatives and large number of people were present on the occasion.
Kumbhraj – One month’s ration in one day’s wages from June
At Antyodaya Mela held at Kumbhraj tahsil headquarters in Guna district, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan distributed benefits worth Rs. 10 crore 34 lakh to 19 thousand beneficiaries under various schemes. On the occasion he also inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 27 works costing Rs. 20 crore 59 lakh.
The Chief Minister said that poor persons will start getting wheat at the rate of Re. 1 per kg, rice at Rs. 2 per kg and iodised salt at the rate of Re. 1 per kg from June 1 this year. He informed that the State Government has undertaken fruitful efforts for making agriculture profitable. Today, Madhya Pradesh is pioneer in the country in agriculture sector. Area under irrigation in the state has been increased from 7 lakh hectare to 24 lakh hectare. Better education and health facilities have been provided. On the occasion, the Chief Minister sanctioned Rs. 2 crore each for development of Kumbhraj and Chachoda.
