“Maa Tujhe Pranam” scheme launched in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: Sports and Youth Welfare Department has launched “Maa Tujhe Pranam” scheme to apprise youths of army and military activities at international borders with a view to instilling spirit of patriotism and creating awareness about security of international borders of the country among them. It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced to implement this scheme at Yuva Panchayat on January 16.

Under the scheme, 5 boys and 5 girls will be selected from every district. Two groups comprising 25 boys and girls will be separately sent on exposure visits to Indian border areas including Longowal, Nathula Pass, Akhnur, Leh, Pulwama, Ganga Nagar, Tanot Mata ka Mandir, Wagha border, Rajauri, Kargil etc.

Sports & Youth Welfare Department has invited applications under “Maa Tujhe Pranam” scheme till May 10. Youths will be selected through lottery system. Youths from 15 to 35 years of age can submit applications under the scheme. In every district, one youth each from NCC, NSC and sports category and 2 from social sector will be selected.

Aspiring youths can submit their applications till May 10 to concerning Sports & Youth Welfare Officer.
