Under CM’s scheme, 351 couples marry

A total of 351 couples in Dantewada district in Chhattisgarh tied the knot on Sunday under the Chief Minister’s Mass Marriage Scheme.

Of them, 348 couples married according to Hindu rituals and customs and three couples in Christian tradition.

Chief Guest and MLA Dehuti Karma and District Collector Dipak Soni were present on the occasion.

According to the government scheme, those marrying get gifts from the government including utensils and materials for domestic use as well as silver ornaments.
