MP Government caring about villages, farmers and labourers

Bhopal: In-charge of Datia district Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh launched the 2nd phase of Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana in the district today. Public Health & Family Welfare Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra was also present on the occasion. It is noteworthy that that the scheme will benefit about 74 lakh beneficiary families in the state. Under it, wheat and iodised salt at Re. 1 per kg and rice at Rs. 2 per kg will be provided to the poor through public distribution system. This will entail additional annual burden of Rs. 1000 crore on the State Government.
In-charge of district Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh said that Madhya Pradesh government is making efforts to improve the state. All-round development has been ensured in all sectors including power, health, water, roads etc. now, a poor person in the state can purchase entire month’s ration with just one day’s wages through Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana.
Dr. Narottam Mishra said that the State Government is providing chaff (bhusa) at reduced rates. He said the State Government is caring about villages, farmers and labourers. He said that power situation has been improved constantly. The Chief Minister will launch Atal Jyoti Abhiyan in Datia district on June 26.
At the function, the ministers also distributed packets of subsidised food grains to BPL and Antyodaya families.
