5.2-magnitude earthquake hits eastern Philippines
New York: The US Geological Survey says a magnitude 5.2 earthquake has struck off the eastern Philippines.
The USGS reported that the quake hit at 4.33 am (local time) on Sunday at a depth of 8.5 kilometers. Its epicenter was about 120 kilometers northeast of San Isidro.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
