Educational institutions should provide talented students opportunity to develop: Governor

Bhopal: Speaking at Patel Group of Institutions’ annual function “Insignia” here today, Governor Shri Ram Naresh Yadav said that apart from teaching, cultural activities in colleges also pave way for students’ all-round development and imbibe virtues of conduct and culture. They also get proper knowledge of state and country’s glorious history, traditions and culture. Shri Yadav said that education institutions are accountable for producing students with all-round development who can become partners in the development of country and society.
The Governor said that students’ interest should be assessed not only on the basis of their academics feats. They can also be provided opportunity to display their hidden talents.
Shri Yadav also felicitated 93 girl and boy students for excellent performance in three categories.
Shri Dinesh Bawra of Laugh India Laugh Comedy also performed on the occasion. Earlier, institution’s Chairperson Smt. Preeti Patel delivered the welcome address. Governor Shri Yadav was presented a memento on behalf of the institution. Shri Ajit Singh proposed a vote of thanks.
