Immense potential of Tourism in Patalkot : Forest Minister
Bhopal: Forest Minister Shri Sartaj Singh has said that there is immense potential of tourism in Patalkot area. Tamia area is rich in natural beauty. He said that this spot is also suitable for adventure sports. Shri Singh was inaugurating adventure sports at Patalkot Rated of Tamia development block in Chhindwara district on Saturday.
Minister of State for School Education Shri Nanabhau Mohod expressed happiness over holding adventure sports in the district. He said that school students should also be introduced to adventure sports.
The Forest Minister and the Minister of State announced prizes Rs. 11 thousand each to two dance troupes for presenting cultural programmes and Ku. Dhwani Ghonghe for presenting Rajasthani dance. The district administration also announced Rs. 2100 prize each to these artistes.
State Tourism Development Corporation Vice-Chairman Shri Santosh Jain, Mahakaushal Development Authority Vice-Chairman Shri Sheshrao Yadav, MLAs Shri Tarachand Bawariya and Shri Premnarayan Thakur and former MP Sushri Anusiya UIkey were also present on the occasion.
