Yuva Panchayat at Jamboree Maidan on January 16

Bhopal: Yuva Panchayat will be held on January 16 under the unique initiative of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan for holding direct dialogue with various sections of society for chalking out schemes for their welfare. Yuva Panchayat will get underway at Jamboree Maidan, Bhopal at 10.30 am. About on lakh youths are expected to participate in this panchayat. A control room has been set up at Bhopal for ensuring smooth arrangements for the mega event.
At Yuva Panchayat, the Chief Minister will hold discussions with youths on expansion of higher education, qualitative improvement in education, technical education, education loan, employment etc. Schemes for youth welfare will be chalked out on the basis of conclusions drawn at Yuva Panchayat. The Higher Education Department has been made nodal department for Yuva Panchayat. Directives have been issued to ensure smooth journey of youths coming to participate in the mega event. For this, CEOs of each Zila Panchayat has been appointed nodal officer.
Control room set up at Bhopal: A control room has been set up at the office of the Regional Additional Director Higher Education on the premises of Government MLB College to solve problems and difficulties as well as dialogue between regional officers, participants and government.
