Woman Sets Herself Two Daughters Ablaze, Dies

In a heart wrenching incident, a woman set herself and two daughters ablaze in the Mohangarh town of Chhindwara district on Sunday, say reports.

While the woman – Rizwana – and one of the daughters – Tayyaba (4) succumbed to the burns, the other daughter – Toshiba – is battling for her life.

According to reports, marital discord drove Rizwana to the extreme step.

Rizwana’s husband, Arif Khan, was not at home at the time of the incident, which took place at around 5.30pm.

A case has been registered and police investigations are underway.
