Two Foreign Tourists Killed, Five Others Injured in Road Mishap in Panna

In a road mishap, two foreign tourists were killed on Tuesday and five others injured when the vehicle carrying them rammed into a truck in Panna district, reported PTI citing police.

According to report, the accident occurred due to thick fog at Devendra Nagar when they were going to Satna via Khajuraho to catch a train for Varanasi.

Police said that the deceased women, both South Koreans, were identified as Kango (37) and Chang (45) and their dead bodies were sent to Panna for autopsy.

They said that injured, of whom four were foreign nationals, were referred to Satna for treatment, said report.

A case has been registered in this regard and further probe is on.
