Sushma Confident of Record Win in Vidisha
Bhopal: Senior BJP leader and party candidate from the Vidisha Lok Sabha segment, Sushma Swaraj on Thursday said that her campaign will register a “record victory” and waxed confident of the National Democratic Alliance led by her party reaching the “magic figure” of 272 to form the next government at the center.
“NDA will reach the magic figure (in the elections) and form the government,” Swaraj said while reporters on the sidelines of her debut electoral outing in the state.
Lampooning the UPA she described it as “Unlimited Prime Minister Alliance”, she said the Congress-led coalition should accept defeat as the NDA was posed for a “clear majority”.
She said that the BJP poll campaign in the state would register victory in 197 of the 29 LS segments in Madhya Pradesh.
