Students will now get digital marksheet with QR code

Bhopal. Digital marksheet having security and QR code verification facility will be given to students now by Rajiv Gandhi Prodhyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. Governor Shri Omprakash Kohli today inspected digital marksheet in Raj Bhavan.

Minister of state for Technical Education (Independent Charge), School and Labour, Shri Deepak Joshi informed the Governor that digital marksheet, the students will get, will be included in personal account on university’s portal www.rgpv.ac.in. After every semester, students will get digital copy and integrated marksheet after final semester. QR code will be available for online verification of documents through university’s server. He said that parents will be given online information about students’ performance. Shri Joshi said that process is underway to provide online degree to students by the university.

Shri Joshi further informed that 22,000 degrees of the year 2014 and 21,000 degrees of the year 2015 and 2016 have been sent to students conducting a drive. Total 8.50 lakh marksheets have been sent to concerned colleges pending for last two years. Students can get digital marksheet from anywhere online. Pending cases related with Ph. D. have been resolved on priority basis. Software is being purchased to curb plagiarism in Ph. D. Previous system has been put on place ending choice based credit system after discussion with experts and feedback of students. Online attendance of students has been made mandatory for colleges affiliated with the university.

Principal Secretary Technical Education and Vice-Chancellor Rajiv Gandhi Prodhyogiki Vishwavidyalaya Smtn Kalpana Shrivastava informed that MoU has been signed with Indian Institute of Swoice Science and EPCO for research. All examinations of the university are being conducted as per academic calendar. She informed about other important activities of the university.
