Staff active for effective check of dengue and malaria

Bhopal. Chief Secretary Shri Anthony de Sa reviewed efforts to check dengue and malaria in the state here today. He directed to make available necessary medicines in all district hospitals and medical colleges. The meeting was informed that Public Health and Family Welfare Department has started intensive drive to check malaria, dengue, swine flu etc. Isolation wards have been set up in hospitals. Due to activeness of Health Department, preparations to check diseases have been started at district level. For this, ASHA workers, ANMs etc have been trained. Test and medicine arrangements have been made from village to development block to district level. Malaria test kits have been distributed at village level so that blood test can be started and free of cost treatment of patients started at the earliest.
