Cycle rally taken out to promote horticulture at Bhopal, all other cities

Bhopal. A cycle rally was taken out in all cities of the state including Bhopal to promote horticulture activities and motivate people under Udyaniki Swarn Jayanti Abhiyan this morning. Raising slogan “Jai Udyan-Jai Kisan”, public representative, social workers, officers, employees and students took part in the cycle rally with enthusiasm. At Bhopal, MP Shri Alok Sanjar and Principal Secretary Horticulture, Shri Praveer Krishna flagged off the rally from Subhash School for Excellence which culminated at TT Nagar Stadium after passing through Bittan Market, Ekant Park, Patrakar Colony, MANIT Crossing and Tin Shade.

People and students started reaching Subhash School from 6 am. They were given yellow T-shirts and caps with slogan “Jai Udyan-Jai Kisan” written on them. All participants had brought their own cycles on which also the slogan was displayed. Apart from slogan, placards about Kabira Brand of Gramodyog and Vindhya Valley products were also carried by rallyists. About 100 students of Subhash School also participated in the rally.

Members of Green Planet participated in the rally under leaderships of retired IAS officer Shri Satyaprakash. Director Gramodyog Smt. Sudha Choudhary, Director Horticulture Shri Mahendra Dhakad and a number of senior citizens also took part in the rally. Shri Praveer Krishna met every participant and boosted their morale. The rally set off with about 1000 participants at 8 am. DJ vehicle moving ahead of the rally was playing patriotic songs and slogans. Shri Alok Sanjar and Shri Praveer Krishna were leading the rally. Large number of officers and employees of Horticulture, Sericulture Department and Gramodyog departments also participated in the rally.

People greeted the rally at several places. Arrangements for water and snacks were also made for cyclists. The rallyists were raising slogan “Jai Udyan-Jai Kisan”. Yellow T-Shirts and caps of participants gave a very pleasant and attractive look to the rally.
