Service to people is service to God: CM
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan listened to Bhagwat Katha by Pt. Kamal Kishore Nagar at Ujjain today. On the occasion, he addressed the devotees who had come to hear Bhagwat Katha. Shri Chouhan said that love is God. All should love each other, keep away from violence and share affection. These will result in happiness.
The Chief Minister informed that the foundation stone of country’s first cow sanctuary has been laid recently at village Salriya in Susner tahsil of Shajapur district. Cows make us economically self-reliant. The government is serving people in right ernest. Service to people is service to God. He urged the people not to discriminate between sons and daughters. Daughters never forget their parents. The State Government is felicitating thousands of senior citizens to undertaked pilgrimage under Mukhyamantri Teerth-Darshan Yojna. A provision has been made for sentence of three months’ jail to the children who do not look after their parents in their old age. The State Government has also made a provision to give pension to parents who have only daughters.
In-charge Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Shri Prabhat Jha, Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Dr. Mohan Yadav and Clay Art Board Chairman Shri Ashok Prajapati were also present on the occasion.
