Renowned English Teacher ‘Yusuf Sir’ Passes Away

Bhopal  —  One of the city’s best known English teachers and the founder of Horizon Classes – Syed Yusuf Zamin Ali  breathed his last in the state capital on Sunday.

Better known as ‘SYZ’ or ‘Yusuf Sir’, Ali helped scores of youngsters in non-English speaking Bhopal realise their potential and dreams in various spheres.

He is survived by his wife and two daughters.

Family members, students, friends and members of the teaching fraternity attended the funeral at the Gor-e-Ghariban Kabristan near the Saifia College.
