Priority to make state’s economy vibrant : CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that making state’s economy vibrant is his first priority. Shri Chouhan laid foundation stone of Narmada bridge at Aonli Ghat on Salkanpur-Dharmkundi Road in Seoni-Malwa development block of Hoshangabad district today. The cost of this about 630 meter long bridge is Rs. 24 crore. Construction of the bridge will pave way for all-weather traffic to people of Hoshangabad and Harda besides adjoining villages directly to Sehore and Bhopal. Forest Minister Shri Sartaj Singh was also present on the occasion.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also formally launched Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana for helping youths to set up their own employment. He gave away sanction letters from bank under the scheme worth Rs. one crore 5 lakh to 7 youths. He also handed over key to Mahindra Xylo vehicle to a beneficiary.
The Chief Minister also laid foundation stones and inaugurated 17 construction works worth Rs. 37 crore. He handed over one 108 Ambulance each for Pipariya, Bankheri, Suhagpur, Babai and Kesla. He gave away copy of khasra kishtbandi to a woman farmer Smt. Sumitra Bai. The Chief Minister announced to increase the capacity of government hospital of Seoni-Malwa’s beds from 30 to 60.
The Chief Minister said that small and cottage industries will be promoted in the state. During last 8 years, 90 thousand kilometer roads have been constructed and improved in the state. He said that all the villages in Hoshangabad district will start received 24X7 power supply from May. The Chief Minister said that no stone is being left unturned to make agriculture a profitable profession. In this context, he referred to facilities of power, fertilisers and loan on zero percent interest rate to farmers. shri Chouhan said that Rs. 150 per quintal bonus on wheat procurement is being provided to farmers. He said that major relief on farmers’ electricity bills has also been given. Special attention is being paid to children’s education. He said that Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Aawas Yojna’s implementation is being considered to provide free houses to the poor.
MLAs Shri Girijashankar Sharma, Shri Vijaypal Singh, Seed Development Corporation Chairman Shri Madhukar Rao Harne, Electronics Development Corporation Chairman Shri Premshankar Sharma, Gau-Samvardhan Board Chairman Shri Shiv Chaubey and other public representatives were also present on the occasion.
