Network of small and cottage industries to be laid in state: CM

Bhopal: A network of small and cottage industries will be laid in the state. No stone will be left unturned in development of Bundelkhand and Sagar district. This was stated by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan at a public meeting after his road show at Sagar today.
Shri Chouhan laid foundation stones for development works costing Rs. 163 crore 59 lakh 84 thousand and inaugurated works costing Rs. 9 crore 7 lakh 60 thousand including about Rs. 151 crore works of Sagar Municipal Corporation.
Sagar to have IT Park: The Chief Minister said that an IT Park will be established at Sagar for development of industries. Directives have been given to allot 10 acre land for it. Shri Chouhan said that loans from Rs. 10 lakh to Rs. one crore will be provided under Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana.
Rs. 50 lakh to every urban body: Shri Chouhan said that Rs. 50 lakh will be provided soon to every urban body in Sagar district for development works. He announced construction of 13 thousand individual toilets costing Rs. 14 crore 64 lakh. Shri Chouhan announced solid waste management at a cost of Rs. 70 crore 54 lakh. He also announced Rs. 110 crore for renovation of Lakha Banjara Lake in the city and establishment of Dairy Federation at Sagar.
Shri Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh has become number 1 state with growth rate of 11.08 percent. Similarly, state’s agriculture growth rate has also gone up to 24.99 percent. He urged people to ensure sanitation like Deepawali throughout the year under Swacch Madhya Pradesh Abhiyan.
Panchayats & Rural Development Minister Shri Gopal Bhargava, Health & Family Welfare Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, Transport Minister Shri Bhupendra Thakur, MP Shri Laxminarayan Yadav, MLAs Sarvshri Shailendra Jain, Smt. Parul Sahu, Harbans Singh Rathore, Mahesh Rai, Pradeep Laria, Mayor Smt. Pushpa Shilpi and other public representatives were also present on the occasion.
