MPTDC to Establish Rail Coach Restaurant in Jabalpur

Bhopal  —  After establishing the world’s first broad-gauge rail coach restaurant – Shaan-e-Bhopal – at Hotel Ashoka Lake View in the state capital, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (MPTDC) now plans to add another feather in its cap by establishing a similar restaurant at hotel Kalchuri Residency in Jabalpur, said corporation chairman Dhruv Narain Singh.

The restaurant, to be named Shaan-e-Jabalpur, would be built using two meter-gauge coaches and would be operational by February 2010.
