Dr. Tiwari to Head State-Level Investigating Team

Bhopal  —  State Health Minister Anoop Mishra on Thursday named Dr. Sharad Tiwari – Dean, Sagar Medical College – as head of the investigating committee constituted to investigate the cause of spread of Dengue and recommend steps for its control.

Mishra has instructed the committee to present weekly reports.

Other members on the committee include – Dr. Deepak Dubey, Professor Pathology, GMC, Dr. S Sakalle, Professor Community Medicine, IMC, Dr. VK Sharma, Professor, Medicine, GMC, Professor, Pediatrics, Dr. GS Patel and In charge, Blood Bank Dr. Anil Joshi both from IMC, Dr. Anil Kapoor, Professor Pathology, Prof. Medicine of Sams college, Indore Dr. Jha, Dr. JC Paliwal and Dr. Manmohan Bhadliya from Director Medical Health.

Dr. BS Ohri will be the coordinator of the committee.

A two member research team from Indian Council of Medical Research Jabalpur will tour Bhopal to study the measures taken for control of Dengue.
