Madhya Pradesh Creates New History of Development: CM

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh has created a new history of development. Contribution of each citizen and team Madhya Pradesh is behind this. New heights of development have been established. Now it is a time for 7 crore 50 lakh people of the state to make Madhya Pradesh best state in the world. CM Shri Chouhan was addressing the Madhya Pradesh Foundation programme at Mantralaya Park today.

Shri Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh has set target for development. We will handover such a state to the future generation that they will feel pride. Hence, every citizen should render services towards it. Madhya Pradesh growth rate is above 10 percent constantly. Similarly, agriculture growth rate is above 20 percent in Madhya Pradesh. State has achieved heights with the cooperation of all. Remarkable work has been done in roads, electricity and irrigation sectors. Agriculture production has increased continuously. Shri Chouhan further mentioned that industries are being established speedily in the state. Madhya Pradesh is in first five states of the country in ease of doing business. Moreover, new dimension has been set in education, health, rural development, urban development, tourism and other sectors. New programmes for poor welfare and women empowerment are being started.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that security of the country and people is paramount. Terrorism will not be tolerated. Paying tribute to the late Shri Ramashankar Yadav, head constable Bhopal central jail killed by the SIMI terrorists during escape, Shri Chouhan said that his sacrifice will not go vain. Madhya Pradesh will continue to be an island of peace. He further said that every one should contribute to make Madhya Pradesh great. He administered pledge for contributing their best for Madhya Pradesh. Recital of Vande Matram and Madhya Pradesh Gaan took place in the programme. National songs were presented by the police band on the occasion. Chief Secretary Shri B.P. Singh, Officers – employees and citizens were present in the programme.
