Madhya Pradesh became number one in country due to employees’ work

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that employees in the state are putting in hard work as a result of which Madhya Pradesh’s growth rate has increased to 10.02 percent now against – 4 percent 9 years ago. The state has witnessed all-round development and become number one state in the country. Only a milestone of development has been crossed. Destination is yet to be reached. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing divisional convention of Madhya Pradesh Officers-Employees Presidential Board at Ujjain today.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that he has been always ahead in safeguarding employees interests. Expressing gratitude to employees associations for donating one-day salary for Uttarakhand relief fund, the Chief Minister descried it as an inspirational gesture that employees donated Rs. 60 crore.

Eearlier, office-bearers of Madhya Pradesh’s officers and employees unions greeted Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan with garlands and mementoes. They expressed gratitude to him for employees’ welfare works. Employees leader Shri Sultan Singh Shekhawat said that the Chief Minister has given their due to employees and officers during last 9 years. President of Gazetted Officers Union Shri Amar Singh Parmar said that the Chief Minister has fulfilled their every demand. Minister in-charge of the district Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Minister of State for General Administration Shri Kanhaiyalal Agrawal, MP Shri Prabhat Jha, MP tourism Development Corporation Chairman Dr. Mohan Yadav, MLA Shri Shiv Narayan Jagirdar, Presidents and office-bearers of employees associations and large number of people were present on the occasion.
