State’s public welfare schemes inspired by Indian values: CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the State Government has chalked out public welfare schemes inspired by Indian values in consultation with people. He said that glorious Indian culture will continue to guide the world. Shri Chouhan was addressing an Ashirwad Samaroh organised by priests and seers at Ujjain today. Earlier, along with his wife Smt. Sadhna Singh, the Chief Minister participated in special Aarti and Darshan of Lord Mahakal. Members of Parliament Shri Narendra Singh Tomar and Prabhat Jha also participated in worship.

Shri Chouhan said that Indian ethos and values lie in the roots of schemes like Mukhyamantri Tirth-Darshan Yojana, Ladli Laxmi Yojana etc. He said that State Government will continue to follow path of righteousness. He said that the State Government has always given preference to people’s wisdom and suggestions. Referring to development of Lord Parshuram’s birth place Janapao and declaration of government holiday on Lord Parshuram Jayanti, he said that the government has given respect to Gods of all communities.

This event was held by Shri Mahakaleshwar Mandir Pujari Purohit and All-India Brahman Samaj on the pious occasion of Guru Purnima.

All-India Brahman Samaj’s President Shri Surendra Chaturvedi said that the Chief Minister has considered all sections’ interests. He expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for sanctioning Rs. 11 crore for development of Janapao.

At the programme, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan sought blessings of religious leaders, seers and priests amidst chants of Vedic hymns. Seers and priests blessed the Chief Minister to succeed in public welfare works.

Cabinet Ministers Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Smt. Archana Chitnis, Dr. Ramkrishna Kusmaria, Shri Paras Jain, chairpersons of corporations/boards and large number of devotees were present on the occasion.
