Holidays in schools of Madhya Pradesh due to bad weather

BHOPAL: From Jan 6-15 due to extreme cold all primary and middle level schools in Madhya Pradesh will remain closed, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said here Wednesday.

The past few days’ cold wave has brought down mercury levels across the state, with minimum temperatures hovering between 1-4 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature in Bhopal Wednesday was a bone-chilling 2.3 degrees.

‘Whether government or private schools, classes from one to eight would be closed from tomorrow (Thursday),’ Shivraj Singh Chouhan told reporters.
