Governor condoles death of freedom fighter Capt. Abbas Ali
Bhopal: Governor Shri Ram Naresh Yadav has expressed profound grief over the death of freedom fighter and Azad Hind Fauj’s Captain Abbas Ali and paid tributes to him.
In his condolence message, the Governor said that contribution of late Capt. Abbas Ali in helping India get freedom and later national unity and integrity and peace cannot be forgotten.
The Governor said that right from childhood, late Capt. Abbas Ali was impressed by revolutionary ideology of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and joined Bhagat Singh’s Naujawan Bharat Sabha during his student life. Capt. Abbas Ali was also close to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia and Jaiprakash Narayan and took part in movements launched by them. On the call of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose he joined the Indian National Army.
The Governor has exhorted people to follow the path of Capt. Abbas Ali and take active part in strengthening peace, harmony and unity in the country.
