Government is making all efforts to provide jobs to youths: CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the State Government is making all out efforts to provide jobs to young girls and boys. ITIs and Skill Development Centres are being opened in the state for skill development. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan stated this while addressing an Antyodaya Mela at Budhni in Sehore district today. At the mela, Shri Chouhan inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 280 various works worth Rs. 64 crore 52 lakh and 20 thousand. He gave away cheques and material worth overRs. 13 crore 34 lakh to beneficiaries under various schemes.

Shri Chouhan said that the State Government has launched Mukhyamantri Yuva Swa-rozgar Yojna for providing jobs to youths. Under the scheme, the State Government will provide loan guarantee and margin money to youths for starting industry and business. Throwing light on decisions in favour of farmers, he said that the State Government will give Rs. 150 per quintal bonus on wheat procurement this year. Surcharge on outstanding electricity bills of farmers will be waived. All villages in the state will start getting 24-hour power supply from May this year. Farmers will be provided power for eight hours daily for irrigation.
Incharge of Sehore district and Tribal Welfare Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah, Warehousing Corporation Chairman Shri Rajendra Singh Rajput, Smt. Sadhna Singh Chouhan, Forest Development Corporation Chairman Shri Guru Prasad Sharma, MARKFED Chairman Shri Ramakant Bhargava, Zila Panchayat Chairman Shri Dharmendra Singh Chauhan, MLAs Shri Vijaypal Singh and Shri Sanjay Shah and large number of villagers were present on the occasion.
