Family of jawan killed in Naxal attack to be given Rs. 15 lakh

Bhopal: At the launch ceremony of Atal Jyoti Abhiyan at Fuf in Bhind district, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan honoured Smt. Sunita, wife of jawan late Shri Ashok Bangali with shawl and coconut at Fuf in Bhind district today. Shri Ashok Bangali who was in the security staff of former MP late Shri Mahendra Karma died in naxalite attack on May 25, 2013 in Sukama district of Chhattisgarh. On the occasion, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan announced to provide Rs. 15 lakh honorarium to family of the martyred jawan, compassionate appointment to one member and a residential plot as their choice.

Shri Chouhan saluted the spirit of people, soldiers and jawans of Chambal region. He said that thousands of people from Chambal region are serving the country as soldiers on country’s borders and are also deployed in naxalism and terrorism affected areas. The Chief Minister said that every possible effort will be made for ensuring development of Bhind district.
