Eligible Beneficiaries Should not be Deprived of Government Schemes’ Benefits
Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Nagar Uday Abhiyan is an ambitious programme. Eligible beneficiaries should not be deprived of the benefits of the government schemes. He further mentioned that works related to sanitation and to declare open defecation free should be undertaken effectively. Shri Chouhan was addressing the Nagar Uday Abhiyan video conferencing at Mantralaya today.
Shri Chouhan congratulated the urban bodies which have been declared free of open defecation under the Amrut Yojna. He said that the remaining bodies should achieve target till March 31, 2017. He informed that Gram Uday Abhiyan will be started again from February 14. All the district collectors should conduct follow up of the last campaign.
It is informed that all the formalities as regard to identification of the beneficiaries under various schemes and sanction should be completed to provide benefit under the second phase of abhiyan. Similarly, infrastructure development works which cannot be carried in any other scheme should be identified and listed. It is also informed that Madhya Pradesh is a leading state of the country in implementation of Pradhanmantri Gramin Awas Yojna. Moreover it is informed that payment of first installment in 40 days, second installment in 20 days and third installment will be ensured.
