Dalai Lama to Visit Bhopal on March 17: Reports

Nobel laureate and Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama will be arriving in the state capital on a day-long visit on March 17, said media reports citing unnamed officials.

Officials said that Lama would deliver a speech on ‘Human rights and social responsibility’ at a programme to be conducted by the State Human Rights Commission in the assembly, said reports.

They said that he would also interact with audience in the programme later, reports said.

Lama would reach Bhopal from Dharamshala on March 17 morning, reports said.

The programme, to be presided over by governor Rameshwar Thakur will start at 2 pm in the state assembly, said reports.
