CM to launch state’s Youth Policy today

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will launch the state’s youth policy on Thursday, March 23, at Motilal Nehru Stadium in the capital. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan will also address the participating youth in the Youth Mahapanchayat being organized on the martyrdom day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev. Youth Mahapanchayat will mainly include youth beneficiaries of welfare schemes, young achievers from various fields, students, and young professionals. Youths of 15 districts of the state, Bhopal, Raisen, Sehore, Rajgarh, Vidisha, Indore, Ujjain, Dewas, Agar Malwa, Shajapur, Harda, Narmadapuram, Sagar, Guna, and Ashoknagar will also participate in the mahapanchayat. Arrangements will also be made for a live telecast of the programme in all the districts.

Chief Minister Chouhan sought information about the preparations for the Youth Mahapanchayat to be held on March 23 from Samatva Bhavan.

Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains and senior officers of the concerned departments were present. Chief Minister Chouhan said that this mahapanchayat will prove important from the point of view of the welfare of the youth. The youth policy has been formulated based on suggestions received from the youth. There was a need for such a policy that is in the interest of the youth. Along with this, the role of the youth can be made important in the interest of the state. The youth mahapanchayat will help in the gathering of the youth of the state and the beginning of a youth portal. Not only this, but a well-thought-out youth policy was also necessary for the state, which paves the way for the development of the youth as soon as it is implemented. Youth should be benefited in various ways in a stipulated period and there should be enthusiasm among them. The draft of the policy was finalized by making continuous necessary efforts to prepare the youth policy. Chief Minister Chouhan said that in the Youth Mahapanchayat, respect will be paid to martyrs Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev. The Chief Minister gave necessary instructions after getting information about the preparations and nature of the programme of the Youth Mahapanchayat.

Beneficiaries of government departments are also joining the Youth Mahapanchayat virtually. In addition to all the government, non-government colleges and universities of the Higher Education Department, technical education and skills, tribal work, sports and youth welfare, medical education, social justice, environment, and rural development department, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, etc. are also included.

The MSME Department, Nehru Yuva Kendra, CM Young Professionals for Development Program Fellow, CM Young Internship Professional Development Program, Youth from the Ankur Abhiyan, Jan Abhiyan Parishad, Farmers-Welfare and Agriculture Development, Public Works, and other construction agency will be present at the broadcast centers in the Mahapanchayat.

There is a lot of enthusiasm among the youth for the Youth Mahapanchayat going to be held at Motilal Nehru Stadium in the capital. Along with the address of Chief Minister Chouhan, the youth portal and the state youth policy will be launched in the Mahapanchayat. Apart from this, the benefits of the schemes of the selected department will be distributed virtually to the young beneficiaries. Some young achievers will also share their success stories. A film focusing on schemes run in the interest of the youth will also be screened. Along with Chief Minister Chouhan, people’s representatives, young award winners, and achievers will also share the dais.
