In the three years of difficult times, the state has established new standards in all directions said CM Chouhan

Progress made in the fields of infrastructure, energy, irrigation, education and health along with the welfare of farmers, youth and women

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the three years of our government were difficult. In the first and second years, we faced the great crisis of Covid. We had the responsibility of making all the arrangements to get the state out of the crisis of Covid. We fulfilled this responsibility and we did not let the pace of development of Madhya Pradesh stop. Along with this, we not only served the people of Madhya Pradesh but also provided all possible facilities to the labourers who were coming on foot. Madhya Pradesh was the first state in the country, which decided that no labourer would walk in the state. We used to pick them in the bus from the border of our state and drop them off at the border of another state. Along with this, arrangements were made for tea, breakfast, food, medicines, and footwear for the labourers with public cooperation. The Crisis Management Committee formed in the state became an example in the country. The administration, the public, and the government together with the people’s representatives faced the challenge of Covid. Chief Minister Chouhan was in a discussion with media representatives on the completion of three years of his government after planting saplings in the park located in Shyamala Hills.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that even in this period of crisis, the state government deposited an amount of Rs 200 crore towards the crop insurance premium of the farmers. In the last 3 years, we were successful in putting more than Rs. 2 lakh 25 crores in the accounts of farmers under different schemes. Along with being active for the welfare of farmers, we dreamed of an Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh and for this, plans for Atal Expressway, and Narmada Expressway were made under the infrastructure, road network, and highways. In this sequence, the plan of Vindhya Expressway is also included. 4 lakh kilometers of roads are ready in the state.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the state government has started many irrigation projects in Madhya Pradesh. After making arrangements for irrigation of 45 lakh hectares in the state, now our steps are moving towards setting up an irrigation system in a 65 lakh hectare area. By increasing the production of electricity, we have made 28 thousand MW available. We are also working fast in the field of solar energy. The work of infrastructure and metro is also going on at a fast pace. Plans for the construction of ropeways at 14 places are ready to make use of the skyway for transportation, not just roads. Work is about to start in Ujjain.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that we have decided to revolutionize the education and health sectors as well. In the form of CM Rise School, our campaign to provide excellent schools to the poor and middle class children was carried out. The construction of their buildings is going on at a fast pace. New education policy was implemented to improve the quality of education. Along with this, efforts were also made towards improving the quality of higher education. CM Shri Chouhan said that a historic decision was taken to conduct medical studies in Hindi on the soil of Madhya Pradesh. Medical colleges are being started one after the other in the education and health sector. A network of Sub Health Centres, Primary Health Centres, Community Health Centres is being laid. Upgradation of health institutions along with medical colleges is making a new revolution in the direction of health. We are at the top in the country in making Ayushman cards.

We already had the distinction of being a Tiger, Leopard, Vulture and Gharial state. Madhya Pradesh has now become a Cheetah State as well. Tourism has attained new heights in Madhya Pradesh.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that from the point of view of economy and employment, we have set new records. About 1.24 lakh government jobs have come out, in which the recruitment campaign is going on continuously. Under the Mukhya Mantri Udyam Kranti Yojana, funds are being made available to one lakh youths every year for self-employment, for which the government is also giving guarantee and interest subsidy. A new scheme has also been started, in which a campaign has been conducted by making a provision of one lakh crore rupees in the budget to provide opportunities to 1 lakh youths to learn to work in “Learn and Earn” and earn the amount.

Under poor-welfare, 91 lakh new names have been linked in many beneficiary-oriented schemes. A mahayagya for development and public welfare is going on in the state. Our budget has now increased to Rs. 3.14 lakh crores. Per capita income, which used to be Rs. 11 thousand, has now increased to around Rs. 1.4 lakh. The size of GSDP is increasing continuously, which was once Rs 71 crores, today it has crossed Rs 13 lakh crores. In these three difficult years, we have been able to make progress and development in all directions in Madhya Pradesh.
