Chouhan Slams Tharoor ‘Cattle Class’ Remark
Bhopal — Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on Thursday said Union Minister of State for External Affairs had no right to continue in the Council of Ministers after his “insulting” remarks equating economy class travelers to ‘cattle’.
“I believe that in a democracy, people are God. To refer to them as ‘cattle’ is an insult to them. And I believe that such a person has no right to be a Union minister,” Chouhan told reporters in the state capital.
He added that Tharoor, perhaps, was not well versed with India, where air travel was a luxury for crores of people.
