Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the sacrifice of the immortal martyrs who contributed to the freedom of the country can never be forgotten

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the sacrifice of the immortal martyrs who contributed to the freedom of the country can never be forgotten. Today is the time to remember the revolutionaries who sacrificed everything for the country. Many immortal martyrs including Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Veerangana Lakshmibai, Chandrasekhar Azad, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Tantya Mama, Bhima Nayak, Ram Prasad Bismil sacrificed their all for the liberation of India. Chief Minister said that today is also the birthday of immortal martyr Hemu Kalani, I salute him. Chief Minister Chouhan attended the commemoration of the martyrdom of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev and Paramvir Chakra awardee Shri Vikram Batra and Shri Manoj Pandey at Rabindra Bhavan.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that freedom is the birthright of every human being. Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev were hanged on this day in 1931. They wanted to see India become independent. His zeal and passion for country-bhakti was in his heart. The British hanged him prematurely. They wanted to proclaim Inqlab Zindabad from hanging.

 

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the images of martyred revolutionaries Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev will be installed in Bhopal. Manuabhan Tekri has been selected for this. The story of his sacrifice will be taught in textbooks from 1st to 12th, so that future generations can take inspiration from him and act with a sense of patriotism. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the state government has arranged this program to remember the three revolutionaries.

In the beginning, Chief Minister Chouhan paid floral tributes to the martyrs. He welcomed the family members of the martyrs and honored them by presenting mementos.

Kiranjit Sandhu, family member of Shaheed Bhagat Singh said that today is the 92nd sacrifice day of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. Bhagat Singh’s life was like a legacy. His ancestors also fought against the British. Bhagat Singh formed Naujawan Bharat Sabha. He took many revolutionary steps while struggling with the British. He went on hunger strike for 114 days to empower the freedom fighters. Girdharilal Batra, the family of martyr Captain Vikram Batra who was awarded the Param Vir Chakra also expressed his thoughts.  Manoj Muntashir Shukla along with his musical ensemble gave patriotic renditions.
