Bhopal Loo Queue for Sanitation, Record

Bhopal  —  Highlighting the lack of sanitation facilities all over the world, NGO Water Aid will form ‘The World’s Longest Toilet Queue’ in the state capital on Saturday.

Drawing attention to the scarcity of water and sanitation facilities, some 1200 citizens are expected to queue it up at a public lavatory at the plush New Market shopping district in the city.

While Water Aid has planned similar queues in four cities and seven MP districts between March 20-22, the Bhopal ‘event’ is being organized in association with Arambh, a local NGO.

The novel ‘line’ adopted by the activists will mark the World Water Day, observed on March 22.
