26000 Poor Families in CG Get 95.11 Cr

Financial assistance amounting to Rs. 95.11 crore has been disbursed to over 26 thousand poor families in Chhattisgarh, this year. The funds made available under the Golden Jubilee Village Self-employment Scheme help beneficiaries establish their own businesses.

In the first seven months of the financial year 2009-10, 26,728 poor families have been given support of Rs 95.11 crore out of which Rs 67.21 crore has been provided through bank loan and rest amount was granted by the administration, official sources said.
