Special film festival on the subject of disabilities
BHOPAL: A three-day film festival will be held in Bhopal from Dec 17 on the subject of disability, said officials on Monday.
During the fiml festival, Aamir Khan starrer ‘Taare Zameen Par’ which deals with dyslexic children, ‘Dosti’, a story of two disabled friends and Oscar winner ‘A Beautiful Mind’ will be screened, the officials said, adding that the intention is to encourage the disabled and associate them with the mainstream. Along with these films the festival will also screen small films made on disability.
The festival is being organized by the NGO Arushi the state’s social justice department, which is working for the handicapped in state. It will be held at the Bharat Bhavan.
Officials said, the festival will be later organized at the divisional and district levels too.
