CM received the Hajis and gave a warm welcome to them

BHOPAL: On Tuesday CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan received a batch of 210 Hajj pilgrims of 11 districts of the state at the Raja Bhoj airport here in Bhopal. The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that arrangements for Hajj pilgrimage would further be improved.

Shri Chouhan visited the airport to receive the Haj pilgrims from Chhatarpur, Harda, Jabalpur, Rajgarh, Sehore, Seoni, Shahdol, Shajapur, Sidhi, Vidisha and Bhopal.

Shri Chouhan said that all religions give message of love, peace and harmony. There are different ways to reach one goal. He said that the state government is working for the well-being of the poor families. He hoped that prayer to Almighty for peace and prosperity of the country will be answered.

The Chief Minister was presented a memento on behalf of Madhya Pradesh Hajj Committee. Dr. Mehtab Alam Khan of ETV Urdu was felicitated. Shri Hajmat Ullah Khan read out the Holy Quran. Minister for Minority Welfare Shri Ajay Vishnoi, Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Shri Dhruv Narayan Singh, State Hajj Committee chairman Shri Salim Quresi, former MLA Shri P.C. Sharma, social worker Shri Firoz Khan, Hajis and their family members were present there.
