CM instructed officials to nab accused promptly

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has instructed to take stern action against criminals. Intelligence network should be strengthened in every district and accused persons should be booked promptly.

Shri Chouhan was discussing State Government’s priorities during seven-hour marathon videoconferencing with commissioners and inspector generals of police of the state here today. He said that in no case criminals should be allowed to operate criminal activities from inside jails.

Salient features of meeting
1. Divisional Commissioners should rate district officers including collectors on the basis of their performance.
2. After rainy season, the Chief Minister himself will take stock of ground realities by undertaking road journey. He will travel by helicopter upto the places where it can reach. The divisional commissioners and collectors should also make surprise inspections of schemes.
3. They should interact with common people during inspection tours.
4. Jan-Sunwai should be made more effective.
5. Next videoconferencing will be held on July 7 in which officers of concerning departments will also be present along with commissioners and IGs.
6. The next videoconferencing will focus on beneficiary-oriented schemes specially those pertaining to Mukhyamantri Haath-Thela, domestic women workers, street vendors, Kapil Dhara, Mukhyamantri and Indira Aawas, Building and other construction workers, Mandi porters, weighing porters, Balram Talab, tendupatta bonus, Forest Rights certificates distribution, schemes of Fisheries Department, Annapurna, Pension schemes, schemes for welfare of handicapped, Mukhyamantri Kanyadan & Nikah and schemes related to the Revenue Department.

Senior citizens of every division to go on Teerth-Yatra : The Chief Minister instructed that one group each of senior citizens should be sent to Teerth-Yatra from every division between July 11 and July 15. Divisional Commissioner should ensure its preparations in time.
