Additional BUs to be installed in 26 wards of Zila and 27 wards of Janpad Panchayats in first phase

Bhopal: There are 15 or more candidates in 26 wards of Zila Panchayats and 27 of Janpad Panchayats in ensuing first phase of Panchayat elections 2014-15. Additional ballot units (BUs) will be installed in these wards.
State Election Commissioner Shri R. Parasuram has informed that for Zila Panchayats, 15 or more candidates are contesting in ward 8 in Rajgarh district, ward 2 and 3 in Guna district, ward 7 of Agar-Malwa district, ward 16 of Chhatarpur, ward 5 of Damoh, ward 15 in Tikamgarh district, ward 24, 27 and 30 of Rewa, ward 7 and 8 in Sidhi district, ward 2, 3, 8, 23, 24, 25 and 26 in Satna district, ward 10 in Hoshangabad district, ward number 8 and 9 in Sheopur district and ward number 1, 2, 4 and 5 of Morena district.
Similarly, for Janpad Panchayats, 15 or more candidates are contesting in ward number 1, 11, 23, 24 and 25 in Biaora development block and ward 25 of Rajgarh, ward 9 in Guna development block of Guna district, ward 10 in Badarwas development block in Shivpuri district, ward 10, 15, 17 and 18 in Mungawali development block of Ashok Nagar district, ward 4 of Jabalpur development block of Jabalpur district, ward 2 in Baihar development block of Balaghat district, ward 17 in Niwari and ward 2, 3, 6, 14 and 18 in Prithvipur development block of Tikamgarh district, ward 20 in Hanumana development block and ward 12 in Mauganj development block of Rewa district, ward 7 in Sidhi development block in Sidhi district and ward 1, 2, 21 in Majhgawan development block and ward number 7 in Uchhehra development block of Satna district.
