Contemporary issues also be discussed at Simhastha-2016
Bhopal: Simhastha Mahakumbh has been guiding the world since ancient times. The state government is making efforts that important issues of the world are also discussed at Simhastha-2016. This was stated by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan at village Shivkothi at Omkareshwar in Khandwa district during inauguration of C.B.S.C Samvid Gurukulam run by Sadhvi Ritambhara today.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the state government will provide stage for discussions on the issues “How to Save Earth’s Existence”, “Women Power”, “Value-based Lifestyle” and “Basic Tenets of Religion”. Efforts will be made to ensure participation of maximum number of seers and scholars to guide the world. Shri Chouhan said that the state government will also make comprehensive arrangements for devotees reaching Omkareshwar during Simhastha.
Earlier, the Chief Minister visited Shakti Peeth Ashram along with his wife. He inaugurated Samvid Gurukulam by lighting a lamp. Shri Chouhan lauded works being undertaken by Maashri Ritambhara for women’s education and empowerment.
Union Minister of State Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti also spoke on the occasion.
MLAs Sarvshri Lokendra Singh Tomar, Hitendra Singh Solanki, Rajkumar Mev and Sushri Yogita Naval Singh Borkar, seers and distinguished citizens were present on the occasion.
