Hail storms in Jabalpur-Mandla, Seoni: Heavy rain in Narmadapuram-Chhindwara; Rain and storm alert for 3 days in MP
There are chances of clouds, rain and storm in Madhya Pradesh for the next 3 days. There was heavy rain in Jabalpur and Umaria on Sunday morning. Hail also fell for 2 minutes in Sohar village of Bargi tehsil in Jabalpur. Hail fell for 4 minutes in Seoni and Mandla. There has been a lot of damage to crops due to hailstorm here.
Water fell along with thunder and lightning in Narmadapuram, Chhindwara, Anuppur, Mandla and Balaghat on Saturday night. According to the Meteorological Department, winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 40 km/hour in the districts of Jabalpur-Narmadapuram division. The period of severe cold will start again from 14th February. Night temperature may drop by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.
Dr. Vedprakash Singh, Senior Scientist of Meteorological Department, Bhopal, said that due to northern winds, cold wave and cold day conditions persisted in the last 24 hours. A decline was also seen in the night temperature. Currently, cyclonic circulation is active around southern Gujarat. Trough line is also passing. This has also affected Madhya Pradesh.
Datia had the lowest temperature in the state on Saturday night. The minimum mercury was recorded at 5.0 degrees. In Pachmarhi it was 13.4 degrees. The highest minimum temperature was recorded in Seoni at 15.4 degrees.

The nigjt temperature recorded less than 10 degree celsius in Datia 5.0 (temperature in degrees Celsius), Khajuraho 7.0, Rajgarh 8.2, Naugaon 8.5, Guna 9, and Rewa 9.4.

Today, due to the trough line, south-easterly winds will remain strong. Showers may occur at isolated places in Narmadapuram, Jabalpur and Shahdol divisions. Strong wind is also expected.
There may be light rain in Shahdol and Jabalpur divisions on 12th February. There is also a forecast of strong wind.
The system will weaken on February 13, but there may be isolated drizzle in Rewa and Sagar divisions.
