Polish President’s Body Arrives in Warsaw
Thousands of mourners observed a two minute silence outside the presidential palace even as motorists switched off their engines in the Polish capital of Warsaw, marking the citizens tribute to President Lech Kaczynski, who died in a plane crash on Saturday.
The coffin bearing Kaczynski’s body arrived at the Warsaw military airport, where it was met by Prime Minister, Donald Tusk.
The body will be kept at the presidential palace ahead of his funeral.
