Chief Minister hands over house keys to homeless people
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that no stone will be left unturned by the State Government to ensure Gwalior’s development. Lack of funds will not be allowed in development. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that while responding to public felicitation accorded to him by Gwalior Municipal Corporation at Gwalior on late Saturday night. At the function, Gwalior Mayor Smt. Sameeksha Gupta felicitated the Chief Minister by offering a crown to him.
The Chief Minister expressed happiness over the fact that people in such a huge number seem enthusiastic in partnering development by attending a government programme late in the night. He said that a number of development works are being undertaken by Gwalior Municipal Corporation and benefits of schemes are being provided to all sections of society efficiently. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that from the crown presented by the Gwalior Mayor, “bichhiya” will be made and presented to brides under Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana.
The Chief Minister handed over keys to houses to 57 beneficiaries of ISDP scheme and gave away sanction letters to beneficiaries of social security, family assistance and old age pension schemes.
Mayor Smt. Sameeksha Gupta said that Chief Minister Shri Chouhan provided Rs. 15 crore earlier and later Rs. 65 crore under Mukhyamantri Adhosanrachna head to Gwalior Municipal Corporation for development of Gwalior city.
