CM urges people to launch drive against social malpractices
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has urged to launch a drive against social malpractices and take pledge to developed an addiction-free society. The Chief Minister was addressing inaugural function of Akhil Bharatiya Kirar Kshatriya Mahasabha’s national working committee.
The Chief Minister called to live for country. Bring about awareness against social malpractices like dowry and Mrityubhoj. Send every child to school. The state government has chalked out welfare schemes for every section of society. Ensure extension of benefit of these schemes to needy people. Madhya Pradesh is maintaining growth rate in double digits for last 7 years. State’s agriculture growth rate is highest in the country. Investment is coming to Madhya Pradesh at a rapid pace. The state has better infrastructure of roads, power and water. Madhya Pradesh will be developed as one of the best in the country.
Shri Chouhan said that several schemes are being implemented for welfare of farmers. Now, farmers can pay only 90 percent of the agriculture loan taken by them. From Rabi season, new crop insurance scheme will be launched under which cost and minimum 50 percent income in proportion to the cost will be assured. Several schemes for women’s empowerment are under implementation in the state. Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami and Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana have been implemented to promote small and cottage industries. He urged the community to ensure better benefit of these schemes to beneficiaries.
National President of the Samaj Shri Shivaji Patel also spoke on the occasion. He said that a fund will instituted to help unemployed youths of the community. Chief Minister and his wife Smt. Sadhna singh were felicitated with shawl and coconut. Samaj’s State President Shri Rohit Chouhan, Shri Rajendra Patel, Shri Ram Krishna Patel, Shri Ramkishan Chouhan, Shri Gajendra Singh Chouhan, Shri Pradeep Singh Chouhan and other office-bearers and representatives of the Samaj were present on the occasion. The programme was conducted by Municipal Corporation Chairman Shri Surjeet Singh Chouhan.
