CM takes second vaccine shot, calls for alert

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday took his second vaccine shot and urged everyone to go for vaccination and make Covid-19 appropriate behavior a way of life.

Baghel took his vaccine at the Pt Jawahar Lal Memorial Medical College here, an official communication said.

He said the lockdown has been realxed to facilitate people’s lives and now everyone has to adopt all the preventive measures so that the war against Covid can be won.

To protect oneself from Covid, vaccination is a must, he said. Those who took the first dose must take the second within the specified period.

But even after vaccination, people should wear masks, maintain physical distance and keep washing hands, Baghel said. Avoid crowds, he added.
