Farmers and youth welfare on government’s priority: CM Kamal Nath

Nath said that agricultural sector will have to be viewed with a new approach for the development of the state

Bhopal: Chief Minister Kamal Nath has said that the government’s outlook is quite clear. Farmers and youth welfare are on priority of the state government. Nath expressed these thoughts at the Yadav Mahasabha organised at Samanvay Bhavan on Monday.
Remembering former Deputy Chief Minister Late Subhash Yadav, CM Nath announced naming of Samanvay Bhavan after late Yadav. The Chief Minister said Yadav Samaj has a glorious past. He assured land allotment to the Yadav Samaj for cultural activities.
Chief Minister Nath said that the agricultural sector will have to be viewed with a new approach for the development of the state. To improve the economy, the purchasing power of the farmer has to be increased. He said that crop loan waiver scheme of Rs 55 thousand crore was ready beforehand on which work has been started. He said that before the coming Lok Sabha elections, the loan waiver of 35 lakh farmers will be completed. He said that if there is no change in the lives of the common man then investment on economic and vocational activities must be increased. Investments made on basic facilities can result in several new opportunities.
CM Nath said that the youth of the country and the world has changed. Being connected to the modern communication facilities this sector has new hopes and aspirations. Ensuring a safe future, generating new employment and vocational opportunities and strengthening their connection with Indian values is a challenge on Monday.
The Chief Minister said that India’s glory is based on its culture, social and spiritual values. The whole world is influenced by India’s unity in diversity. They look up to our country with great respect and wonder. India is the only country with diversities in religion, languages, traditions, food and attire in the world. The Soviet Union was also a country with diversities but it split up. The base of our country’s strength is its social values and spiritual cultural traditions. Nath called upon the Yadav Samaj members to work for the conservation of India’s spiritual values.
On this occasion, Minister for Cottage and Gramodyog Department, New and Renewable Energy, Harsh Yadav, Minister for Farmer- Welfare and Agriculture Development, Horticulture and Food Processing Department Sachin Yadav, Yadav Mahasabha President Yogendra Singh, Damodar Singh and senior member Bhagwan Singh besides other public representatives, office-bearers of the Mahasabha and a large number of members were present on the occasion.
