Rs 1 Cr Sanctioned for Financial Aid to Calamity-affected People
The state government has sanctioned Rs 1 crore four lakh for financial assistance to the calamity victims of Mandla, Vidisha, Dhar, Balaghat, Khargone, Anuppur and Ujjain districts, said an official release.
The amount has been allocated to the concerning district collectors for clearing the pending bills of assistance to victims of snakebite, hailstorm, fire and other needy persons.
Maximum Rs 17 lakh 10 thousand have been allocated to Mandla collector followed by Rs 11 lakh to Vidisha collector, Rs 10 lakh to Dhar collector, Rs 10 lakh to Balaghat collector, Rs 6 lakh to Anuppur collector, Rs 5 lakh to Ujjain collector and Rs 5 lakh to Khargone collectors.
The collectors have been instructed to utilise these funds according to the provisions of R.B.C 6-4.
